El Dia De Los Ninos y Libros : Childrens Day and Book Day

Celebrate Dia at the Library!
Since the spring of 2012, the John Ed Keeter Public Library has celebrated el Dia de Los Ninos y Libros (a.k.a. Children's Day and Book Day). This program fosters the love of reading for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Dia began in 1925 and is recognized with special events at the Saginaw library as well as at hundreds of other libraries nationwide around April 30th each year.

The John Ed Keeter Public Library was able to celebrate Dia thanks to the Half Price Books Half Pint Library program. Their generous donation helped provide free books to all the children who attended the library's Dia program.
