    The City of Saginaw Recreation Center just is once again hosting the very popular “7th Annual Images of Saginaw Photo Contest" that began January 2020. Saginaw, Texas is a beautiful city and so are it’s people. This is your chance to show-off and showcase the awesome city that we live in. This fun contest is very simple. Subjects must be located within the city limits of Saginaw, Texas. Categories: - Saginaw Scenes: Nature, landscapes, architecture, transportation, etc… - Saginaw People/Activities: Sporting events, city functions, people at work, portraits - Saginaw Animals - Spirit of Saginaw: Photos that best represent the spirit of our great community - Best of Show: Best photo of the four (4) category winners

  2. Bulky Brush Pickup - Week of April 6

    April 6, 2020 - April 10, 2020

    Waste Connections picks up bulky brush and tree limbs twice a year, on the first week of April and October. The next pick-up will begin the week of April 6. Brush must be out by the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, April 6. It takes several days for the trucks to canvass the entire city. Brush and limbs bundled and not longer than four (4) feet in length or over 50 pounds will be picked up with regular garbage service.     The Local Business Forum is sponsored by the City of Saginaw Community & Economic Development Department and encourages a local business economy that is participatory, engaged and informed about the resources available to strengthen and enhance their business practices. These Forums are held quarterly and are available to all business stakeholders in the community including: commercial property owners, company owners, home-based business owners, managers, brokers, realtors, investors, developers, corporate representatives, elected officials, commercial lenders, educational institution representatives, 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 organizations, civic groups and more! If you are interested in learning more about what the City of Saginaw local economy is about and what resources are available to help grow and support entrepreneurship and employment right here at home, this casual breakfast is just for you.

  4. Upcoming Holiday Hours - Good Friday

    April 10, 2020, All Day

    The City of Saginaw Municipal Offices and the Recreation Center will be closed all day on Friday, April 10th to observe the Good Friday holiday. However, the Library will be open during their normal hours. The Recreation Center and Library will also be open the next day (Saturday) at their normal hours.

    The City of Saginaw Community Services Department is proud to announce the return of the much anticipated “Concerts in the Park Music Series”! The City of Saginaw has once again partnered with The Arts Council of Northeast Tarrant County (ARTSNET) to provide you with this collection of FREE entertainment. Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs and join us for an evening of musical performing arts at the large pavilion in Willow Creek Park. Remember, admission is FREE. Concessions will be available.
