Saginaw Concert Series

The City of Saginaw Community Services Department is proud to announce the return of the much anticipated “Saginaw Concert Series”! The City of Saginaw has once again partnered with The Arts Council of Northeast Tarrant County (ARTSNET) to provide you with this collection of FREE entertainment.

Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs and join us for an evening of musical performing arts at 7:00 PM at either the Saginaw Switchyard Food Truck Park in southern Willow Creek Park (752 S. Knowles Dr.) or the Saginaw Recreation Center (633 West McLeroy Blvd). Remember, admission is FREE. Food Trucks will be available at the outdoor events.

It was 1994 when, after a regular chorus meeting with the Cowtown Chorus in Fort Worth, 4 guys met for the first time to see how they might sound as a barbershop quartet. They liked the sound, they liked each other, and so, the Sentimental Journey quartet came to life.

Sentimental Journey is going strong after 27 years and has performed many times on stage with other DFW-area Barbershop choruses such as Southwest Sound in Fort Worth and The Goodtimes Chorus in Arlington. Sentimental Journey also has multiple a cappella performances for CBS Channel 11 Christmas Music Special, Concerts in the Gardens, Six Flags Holidays in the Park, the Bass Hall with the Fort Worth Symphony, at birthdays, weddings, Singing Valentines, funerals, and many others.
