As our community comes together in an effort to fight the spread of COVID-19, the Saginaw Public Works Department remains committed our citizens. On Tuesday, March 24th, Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams joined together calling for all residents to stay at home to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
Beginning March 25, 2020, the Saginaw Public Works Offices will be closed on Fridays. The Public Works Department will be following the guidelines of "Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, Stay Home" set by Tarrant County and will operate with a limited staff.
On Mondays through Thursdays, some Public Works staff are changing out water meters. To stop the spread of coronavirus, City of Saginaw officials recommend "Social Distancing" (maintaining a distance of 6 feet) from Saginaw employees. This reduces the chance of contact with those knowingly or unknowingly carrying the infection.
We apologize for disruptions to service levels during this time. If you know who it is you want to contact, you can email or phone that individual and leave a message. If your matter is more urgent you should call the Public Works main number at (817) 230-0500 for assistance.
