SALES TAX REVENUES: The City of Saginaw municipal year is based on October through the following September. Below are Fiscal Year Sales Tax Revenues as reported by the Texas State Comptroller's Office:
- FISCAL YEAR SALES TAX – “REVENUES”:
- Fiscal Year 2022-23 Total Revenues = $2,636,687.85 – through January 2023 (11.57% increase from the previous year)
- Fiscal Year 2021-22 Total Revenues = $7,762,572.97 (7.27% increase from previous year)
- Fiscal Year 2020-21 Total Revenues = $7,236,582.55 (21.46% increase from previous year)
- Fiscal Year 2019-20 Total Revenues = $5,957,804.98 (6.72% increase from previous year)
- Fiscal Year 2018-19 Total Revenues = $5,582,848.90 (6.73% increase from previous year)
- Fiscal Year 2017-18 Total Revenues = $5,257,738.16 (3.19% increase from previous year)
- Fiscal Year 2016-17 Total Revenues = $5,091,389.00 (6.91% increase from previous year)
- FISCAL YEAR SALES TAX – “MONTHLY AVERAGES”:
- Fiscal Year 2022-23 Monthly Average: $659,171.96 (October 2022 through January 2023: 4 months)
- Fiscal Year 2021-22 Monthly Average: $646,881.07
- Fiscal Year 2020-21 Monthly Average: $603,048.50
- Fiscal Year 2019-20 Monthly Average: $496,483.74
- Fiscal Year 2018-19 Monthly Average: $465,237.40
- Fiscal Year 2017-18 Monthly Average: $438,144.84
- Fiscal Year 2016-17 Monthly Average: $424,282.41
