Pet Registration
The City of Saginaw requires that all dogs and cats 4 months or older to wear a current city registration tag and rabies tag. Licensing is an important means of identification and can help reunite you with your pet if it gets lost. It also provides your pet's rabies vaccination status in the event that the pet is involved in a bite. Registration tags are valid for one year or three year depending on rabies vaccine duration. Three year registration must be purchased no later than 30 days from three year rabies vaccination.

Application
- In person - Cash, check, money order, and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only) are accepted in-person at the Animal Services Shelter.
- By Mail- Print the pet registration application form and mail the completed form and a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate with a check or money order to the City of Saginaw Animal Services Shelter, PO Box 79070, Saginaw, Texas 76179, or drop off at the City Hall drop box, located on the eastside of the building, in an envelope labeled "Animal Services."
